About

I am building Soma, a commercial insurance brokerage for US small businesses. We place the risks that standard carriers decline - contractors, daycares, restaurants, security companies - and we run the whole operation on software we write ourselves.

Insurance is a huge, old industry that still runs on PDFs and phone calls. I like that. It means a small team with good tooling can outwork brokers fifty times our size, and have fun doing it.

Before Soma, I worked on engineering and product at CRED. I studied engineering at BITS Pilani.
